成功する起業家の４つの資質

起業して成功するためには、必要なリスクを果敢に取って、これまでにない新しい価値をつくることが求められます。言い換えれば、常識外れで、柔軟に考えて、成長・変化できる人が起業家タイプと言えます。

では、新しい価値を生み出すには何が必要なのか？
それには大きく４つの資質があります。

 

①客観的な自己認識

何に情熱があって、何が強みか、どんな改善の余地があるかを客観的に認識できるかどうか。そもそも自らをしっかりと省みない人がほとんどなので、これができている人は限られています。

自己認識を高めるためのお勧めの方法は、日誌をつけることです。毎日欠かさずに1日を振り返り続けることで、徐々に自己認識する能力も習慣も身についていきます。

特に大成功している人ほど、日誌をつける習慣があります。ぜひ、今日から取り入れてみてください。

 

②与え続ける姿勢

得るのではなく、先に与えること。
自分が相手や社会にどんな貢献ができるかを常に考えていることです。そうでなければ、応援してくれる仲間は集まりませんし、得られるものも限られます。

ビジネスも基本的に先行投資して価値を提供するからこそ、対価が得られます。
大きく与える姿勢が大切です。

 

③即断、即決、即行動

やると決めて、すぐにやること。
失敗を恐れずに突き進む行動力です。

起業で成功するには、画期的なアイデアとか高いIQとかではなく、ほとんどの人が考えているだけでやらない中、一人突き進むことができるかどうかです。

それができれば、PDCAサイクルが高速回転するので、最初はうまくいかなかったとしても、最終的には一番早く成功にたどり着きやすくなります。

 

④常識や今の成功を疑う

いい意味で疑うことで、物事の本質が見えてきたり、新しい発想が生まれやすくなります。
「なぜ、そうなのか？」という疑問を持つことで、思考を止めず考え続ける習慣が定着し、アイデアを生み出すことにつながりやすくなります。

 

おまけ

「何が好きか、何が強みか、何がしたいかわからない」という人も少なくないと思います。
しかし、そうであったとしても起業家になることを諦める必要はありません。
自分のことを客観的に知る、というのは決して簡単なことではありません。まず、自問自答し続けること、諦めないことです。

そして、考えてばかりいないで、とにかく行動し続けることです。考えるよりも、「感じる」ことです。

あとは誰かに聞いてみることをお勧めします。きっと、あなたの強みや「生き生きしているとき」を正確に教えてくれるでしょう。
