起業で失敗する３つのパターン

インターネットの普及で、誰でも気軽に起業しやすくなりました。アフィリエイト、転売、ネットビジネスなど、いかにも簡単に稼げそうな情報がネット上には多くみられます。確かに始めるのは簡単です。

しかし、実際にそれでまともに稼げるかは全く別の話です。そもそも、そんなに簡単に稼げるなら、もっと多くの会社員が会社を辞めて独立・起業するはずですよね。

たとえば、アフィリエイトをやっている人の95％は月額5千円も稼げていません。まともに生活できるくらい稼げているのは1％にも満たないでしょう。

では、どうすればそんな失敗をせずに済むのか？

今回は起業で失敗する3つのパターンをご紹介します。

 

情熱がない

「お金がかからない」「利益率が高い」「リピート性がある」という条件を満たしたビジネスを選んでも、それだけでは成功できません。そこに情熱がなければ行動することも、継続することもできないからです。

どれほど優れたビジネスモデルでも、情熱というガソリンが無ければ行動できないし、行動しても続けられません。そして、何か困難にぶつかったら、すぐにあきらめてしまいます。

結局、最初から最後まで最も重要なのは情熱なのです。

 

マーケティングセールスが弱い

できれば両方、少なくともどちらかが普通レベル以上にできなければ、起業しても成功はおぼつかないでしょう。
起業して成功している経営者の会社員時代、トップ営業マンであることが多いことが物語っています。あるいは、マーケティング担当として成果を出している場合もあります。

特に起業初期は、セールスがものを言います。セールス力があれば、売上で数千万円レベルまでは気合でいけると言ってもおかしくありません。

ただ、個人的にはマーケティングを勉強しておくことを強くお勧めします。なぜなら、「マーケティングとは、セールスを不要にすることだ」という格言の通り、マーケティングが上手ければ、セールスしなくても自然に売れるようになるからです。マーケティングは小手先で身につけられるようなものではありませんが、ある程度の日数をかけて体系的に学ぶだけでも、その後のビジネスを大きく左右するほどのインパクトがあります。ぜひ、今のうちから学び始めてください。

 

ストレスやトラブルに弱い

最初から大きな失敗をせずに成功できる人などほぼ皆無です。むしろ逆、大成功している大企業の社長ほど、数多くの大失敗をしています。「ビジネスは1勝9敗」という言葉の通り、ビジネスに失敗はつきものです。

取引先から騙された、請求書通りに支払ってもらえない、お金を従業員に使い込まれた、お金をスタッフに持ち逃げされた、訴えられた、などはよくある話です。が、それで落ち込んで動けなくなるような人は、起業しないことをお勧めします。

そうした数々の困難を乗り越えて、後で振り返ったときに語り草となるような武勇伝や笑い話に変えられる人が、起業家に向いています。
